Cross Country Ride - Saturday, 22nd November 2008
Saturday 22nd November 2008 (or if postponed Saturday 29th November) Cross Country Ride in the Belvoir country around the Hose area and kindly sponsored by the John Cheatle Group. The line will be approximately 3.5 miles over natural hunting country. The Committee does not guarantee that it will be free from wire, but every effort will be made to take it down wherever possible. The minimum weight for all will be 11 stone 7lbs
Prizes:in addition to the first four will be:
- 1st Lady, 1st Gentleman, 1st Farmer, 1st Under 25.
- 1st Novice (neither horse nor rider to have been placed 1,2,3 in a Point to Point, Team Chase or Cross Country Ride).
- 1st Veteran (over 50).
- 1st Guards Saddle Club.
- 1st Kings Troop.
- 1st Soldier on an Army Horse.
- 1st Line Cavalryman (a new cup has been given for this category).
- 1st Cambridge Undergraduate/Graduate.
- 1st Middleweight (13-15 stone).
- 1st Heavyweight (Over 15 stone)
- 1st Local Heavyweight Farmer (Over 15 stone ridden by a resident of Quorn, Belvoir or Cottesmore Farmer).
- 1st Belvoir Member (Farmer or Subscriber).
